Ionia Bulldogs Football Preview

The Bulldogs are coming off a disappointing 4-5 season in 2017.  They also lose their quarterback in John Mayer.

Mike Holes' squad has only 25 players on varsity, but 14 starters return.

Ionia has a tough schedule this year.  They open with Alma on the road before hosting Hillsdale in Week 2.  The CAAC White looks strong again with Sexton, Catholic, and Portland being the favorites.

Ionia hosts Lansing Catholic and Sexton, but they go to Portland.  They'll likely need to win two of those games to qualify for the playoffs this season.
