At a press conference in Indianapolis on Friday, Colts owner Jim Irsay announced that the team is retiring future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning's number 18 and will put Manning in the team's Ring of Honor at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Irsay also announced that the team will have a statue of Manning erected outside "The House That Peyton Built."

'The Sheriff" spent 15 of his 18 seasons in a Colts uniform.  He was the team's first-round draft choice out of Tennessee, where he was the first overall pick in the 1998 Draft.
