Michigan Basketball guard/forward Franz Wagner (pictured above) announced on Thursday that he will return to Ann Arbor for his sophomore season and skip the upcoming NBA Draft.

Franz, who is the younger brother of former Michigan standout Moritz Wagner (currently with the NBA's Washington Wizards), was named to the Big Ten All-Freshmen team this past season.  He averaged 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds a game in his freshman season.  He led the team in steals as well.

Wagner is widely regarded by commentators and other media members as a future pro.  And he was considering entering his name into the Draft.  Teammate Isaiah Livers is entered in the Draft, but hasn't hired an agent and thus leaving open the possibility for a return to Ann Arbor for his senior season.
