Media sources are reporting that the Detroit Pistons have agreed to trade shooting guard Reggie Bullock (pictured) to the Los Angeles Lakers for former Kansas star and rookie forward Sviatoslak Mykhailiuk, plus a future second-round pick.

The trade is expected to be finalized by the NBA trade deadline, which is 3pm Eastern time on Thursday, and possibly even on Wednesday.

Bullock will be an unrestricted free agent after this season, Mykhailuk is in the first year of a three-year deal after being the Lakers' second-round pick in the Draft last summer.

The Pistons are 24-29 and are 1 1/2 games behind Miami for the 8th and final playoff spot in the NBA's Eastern Conference entering play on Wednesday.
