The Big Ten Conference announced on Sunday that Michigan State will play Maryland this Saturday night for its Champions Week football game.

The game will take place at Capital One Field in College Park, Maryland.  Kickoff is set for 7:30.

The 2-5 Spartans (head coach Mel Tucker pictured above) are coming off a 39-24 loss to Penn State last Saturday in State College, PA.  The Terrapins, who've had COVID-19 issues all season long, are 2-3  and are coming off a 27-24 overtime loss to Rutgers last Saturday.

These two teams were supposed to play each other back in November.  But because of the aforementioned COVID-19 issues on Maryland's team.  The game was canceled.

Coverage for the MSU-Maryland game begins on Saturday with the White Law PLLC Tailgate Show at 4:00pm, with network coverage starting at 6:00 on Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM and Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ.
