In accordance with Executive Order 183, issued by Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer on Wednesday, the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) announced adjustments to the current attendance restrictions for high school sporting events, effective October 9th.

Beginning on October 9th, all outdoor events will have an attendance cap of 1,000, with indoor events being at a 500 person maximum.  All rules regarding face coverings for participants will remain in effect.  All current social distancing rules for spectators will also remain in effect.

The current rule (in effect until October 9th) had been two tickets per participant (including cheerleaders) that could attend football games, or any outdoor event (soccer, etc.)
