ICYMI: CMU Announcer Chiodo Passes Away

Veteran Central Michigan football and men's basketball announcer Don Chiodo died in an automobile accident late Wednesday west of Saginaw.

Chiodo was 54, he had been the play-by-play voice of the Chippewas since 2010.  He was set to broadcast the Chippewas game against Miami (Ohio) this coming Saturday in the Mid-American Conference Championship Game at Ford Field.

In the off-season, Chiodo was a financial advisor in the Mt. Pleasant area.
