After a rough 4-7 start to the NBA season, the Houston Rockets have fired their head coach Kevin McHale after 4+ seasons at the helm, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski..

McHale led the Rockets to the Western Conference Finals last season where they lost to the Golden State Warriors.  Assistant J.B. Bickerstaff will take over on an interim basis.

McHale was a part of the legendary frontline of the Boston Celtics in the 1980's, along with Robert Parish and Larry Bird.  The team won three championships and made five Finals apppearances during his career.
