Holt Bowling Standout Wins H.S. Student-Athlete Of The Week
Dowding Industries and the Lansing Sports Commission present the High School Student-Athlete of the Week.
And this week's winner is Ava Seyfried, a junior on the Holt High School girls bowling team.

Ava won the CAAC girls singles championship last weekend at Royal Scot Golf and Bowling Lanes. Her two-game score of 397 bested her Holt teammate, Lola Knox, in the finals. She is averaging 175 this season in her matches, and her high game this year is 229.
Ava was a member of the Division 1 state championship team two years ago as a freshman. And she was a part of the team that made it to the Division 1 quarterfinals as a sophomore last year.
She is also a very good student, carrying a 3.2 grade point average. Ava would like to bowl in college and study kiniesiology and athletic training once she gets there.
