Lansing is an exceptionally unique place.

First and foremost, it's the state's capital. That's something no other city in Michigan can boast. But that's not what I'm talking about when it comes to uniqueness.

For lack of a better word, there's a "vibe" here in Lansing that you won't get from anywhere else in Michigan. And part of that vibe is just some straight-up weirdness.

I mean absolutely no disrespect when I say that. To me, weird is just another word for interesting and fascinating, and I truly love living here. It's the weirdness that makes Lansing so cool. And speaking of weird and odd, there was definitely something odd happening on the west side of Lansing the other day. Check it out in the photo below.

You're not hallucinating. You are looking at a hearse parked outside of the Chuck E Cheese's on Lansing's west side. Ann S. snapped this hilariously odd sight over the weekend and it's blowing up on Facebook. A funny Facebook page, Lansing Facts, picked it up and ran with it, too. Even the owner of the hearse chimed in. The owner, Tom W., is with Punks with Lunch and swung by because Chuck E Cheese's reached out to them wanting to donate pizzas to pass out to people at the park.

There's something so odd about the juxtaposition of seeing a hearse parked outside a children's arcade/play place. But I absolutely love the wholesome reason it was there.
