Injuries have been an issue for the Williamston Hornets this season.  Several key players, including two starters, have missed significant time due to various ailments.  But it looks like those woes have finally subsided as the Hornets dispatched of CAAC White rival Fowlerville in a Class B District Semifinal match-up Wednesday night, 76-23.  The win vaulted Williamston (19-2) to a showdown with former rival Haslett on Friday night at Don Johnson Fieldhouse in the District Final.  One of those guys who missed significant time is Case Conley.  The Junior guard has played well since returning from a wrist injury, scoring 11 points Wednesday night.  Sean Cobb has also returned from a shoulder issue but is still working his way back and came off the bench versus the Gladiators (10-11).  Cobb contributed 8 points and 5 rebounds.  It was all Williamston from the very beginning as they raced out to a 28-8 lead.  By the time Cole Kleiver had hit a 3 to start the third quarter, the running clock was in play and the Glads had no answer.  Kleiver led the Hornets with 18 and added 5 assists.  Geoffrey Knaggs paced Fowlerville with 7 points & 8 boards.
