Season Outlook:
Haslett has missed the playoffs in five of the last eight seasons, including last year's 4-5 disappointing campaign. Veteran coach Charlie Otlewski has 43 players on varsity this year, including 21 seniors. But it's a junior that is expected to be the key to the season, QB Hyrum Tibbits. Coach Otlewski will have him do everything this year: Kick returns, defense, offense, you name it. The CAAC Red looks stacked this year with Charlotte joining the league. The non-conference slate is just as tough, if not tougher. Opening night against Fowlerville is huge for them.
