Detroit Lions fans may hate to be reminded of one of the most heartbreaking losses last season but Carl Chaffers has no second thoughts on his call that lead to the Green Bay Packers winning the game on a miracle Hail Mary. The Lions lost 27-23.

Cheffers broke down the call during a video presentation of NFL rules changes and points of emphasis in 2016 according to ESPN.com.

“Horse-collar, facemask, I think it was an illegal tackle. I’m very comfortable with it,” said Cheffers

Chaffers is one of the two referees that throw a flag on Devin Taylor's personal foul infraction last season against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers were lateraling the ball until it the play was ruled dead after Aaron Rodgers was tackled by Taylor. Green Bay was given a second chance... and you know the rest.

“Dude, I’m not going to watch that again,” he said, walking away. “It’s 2016, dude.”
