The Grand Ledge Comets were able to muster up a victory tonight against the Red Wings of St. Johns in a CAAC Red and Blue Crossover match, 57-44. The Comets got off to a rocky start during the first quarter, ending with a 20-7 deficit. St. John's was able to take a healthy lead going into halftime. But the Comets fought back and were able to take the lead for the first time late in the 3rd quarter, And kept it though the final buzzer. As a team, the Comets shot 22-48 from the field, and 8-13 from the three point line. The Red Wings shot 14-46 from the field, and 5 of 14 from the three. Nick Niznack was the Dean Trailways player of the game for the Red Wings, and Jordan Goebel was the player of the game for the Comets.
