Grand Ledge Names Co-Coaches To Replace O’Keefe
Grand Ledge High School announced on Friday that longtime assistant Mike Rademacher and former Comet player Grant Householder will be co-interim head coaches for the upcoming high school baseball season.
Rademacher and Householder will replace legendary coach Pat O'Keefe, who retired earlier in February after 51 seasons at the helm. O'Keefe left after accumulating over 1,300 career wins and a pair of Class A state titles (1977, 1995) during his tenure.
Grand Ledge won the 2019 Diamond Classic and reached the Division 1 regional finals before losing to eventual state champion Portage Northern in extra innings.
