Grand Ledge HS Varsity B-Ball Coach Lewis Steps Down

Saying that he wants to spend more time with his family, veteran Grand Ledge High School boys varsity basketball coach Scott Lewis stepped down from his position via Grand Ledge Basketball's Facebook page on Wednesday morning.

Lewis coached the Comets for the last nine seasons.  His team was 11-10 this past season and 6-6 in the CAAC Blue (finishing third in league play).  The team lost in overtime to DeWitt in the district semifinals, 35-30 earlier this month at Lowell HS.

No replacement for Coach Lewis has been named as of yet.
