Frans Nielsen To Appear in First All-Star Game
Detroit Red Wings forward Frans Nielsen was voted to the play in the 2017 NHL All-Star Game in Los Angeles.
This marks as Nielsen's first appearance during his 11-year career in the NHL. Prior to signing a six-year $31.5 million contract to the Red Wings this past off season, Nielsen spent spent 10 years with the New York Islanders.
The Red Wings are one game under .500 but Frans Nielsen is third in scoring with 23 points and has tallied eight goals. He posted a career high 58 points in 2013 with the Islanders.
