Dowding Industries and the Lansing Sports Commission presents the High School Student-Athlete of the Week.

And the final honoree of the season is Brooke Weber, senior on the Division 4 state champion Fowler HS girls basketball team.

Brooke was one of the key performers in the Eagles run to the state title this March.  She scored 14 points in the quarterfinal victory over Frankfort.  She then scored 14 points, including 4 three-pointers, in their semifinal victory over over Genesee Christian.  And then she scored 10 points in the 53-29 victory over Ewen-Trout Creek in the state title game at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.

She was named 2nd team All-CMAC this season and led the team with 79 3-point baskets and shot 42% from behind the 3-point arc.  She played volleyball for three years, and played golf for one season during her time at Fowler HS.

Brooke is a great student, carrying a 3.6 grade point average.  She plans to study accounting at Central Michigan University next year.
