Former Michigan State defensive lineman Malik McDowell (pictured above) pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges in Oakland County Circuit on Wednesday.

McDowell will be sentenced in November on charges of drunk driving, resisting arrest, and driving a stolen vehicle, stemming from an incident from this past February in suburban Detroit.

After three seasons at MSU (2014-16), McDowell was a 2nd round draft choice of the Seattle Seahawks. He never played for the Seahawks after an ATV accident in the summer of 2017, and was waived by the team in 2018.

If sentenced to the fullest extent, McDowell could get up to five years in jail.
