WILX.com reports that a former Michigan State University basketball assistant coach has been found guilty on charges stemming from a fatal car accident that killed two people in July 2017.

Todd Moyer was found guilty of reckless driving causing death in a Monroe County Courtroom Friday, one count for each victim. Moyer will be sentenced on August 30, and faces up to 15 years in prison.

Moyer was involved in an accident on U.S. 23 while texting. A 35-year old woman and her 5-year old daughter were killed.
