Five Things for September 26th

1.  The Detroit Tigers Magic Number is 2 to win the American League Central.  They defeated the Minnesota Twins 4-2 at Comerica Park. The same two teams play tonight in Detroit.

2.  Derek Jeter got the game-winning RBI in his final game at Yankee Stadium.  The New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-5.

3.  Eli Manning threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as the New York Giants blew out the Washington Redskins 45-14 at FedEx Field.

4.  11th ranked UCLA remained unbeaten as they destroyed 15th ranked Arizona State in Tempe 62-27.  Bruin QB Brett Hundley threw for 355 yards and 4 TD's.

5.  The 40th Ryder Cup Golf Matches has begun at The Gleneagles in Scotland.  Europe has won the last two Ryder Cups against the United States.
