1.Sterling's Bid Denied

Donald Sterling's bid to get his case moved to federal court was denied.  During this bid, the judge also ruled that Donald Sterling's mental evaluations will be heard in court.  Donald Sterling was not in the court yesterday as the preceding began in Los Angeles probate court.  He is expected to be in court today and he is expected to testify at the trial.

2. Porcello Part Of All-Star Game Final Vote

Tigers pitcher Rick Porcello is one of the 5 pitchers left to represent the American League in this years All-Star Game.  Chris Sale, Garrett Richards, Dallas Keuchel and Corey Kluber are the players competing for votes with Rick Porcello.  Porcello is 11-5 with a 3.53 era with 64 K's.  Voting ends at 4 PM on Thursday and you can vote here.  The Tigers resume play tonight as the Los Angeles Dodgers come to town.

3. Chris Bosh Looking At Houston

With NBA Free Agency heating up, Chris Bosh's name has been floating around different camps.  According to a report, the Houston Rockets are willing to give Chris Bosh a max deal.  Many teams are waiting to see where Carmelo and LeBron but are preparing a plan B if LeBron or Carmelo do not choose their team.

4. US District Court Gives OK In Preliminary Concussion Lawsuit

The NFL Players maybe getting compensation from huge concussion lawsuit settlement that could pave the wave for future compensation.  The US District Court in Philadelphia gave the ruling two weeks after the NFL agreed to remove a $675 million cap.  Judge Anita Brody originally was worried to see if the money would cover all of the claims filed against the NFL.

5. Tour de France Moves To Stage 4

The first stage in France takes place today after the first three stages in England.  The current overall leader Vincenzo Nibali from Italy has a 2 second lead over Peter Sagan.  Marcel Kittel from Germany won the last stage and Kittel won stage one after finishing 166 in stage two.  The Tour de France started July 5th and will end on July 27th with a few rest days mixed in.
