Final Lansing-Area Top 10 Girls Basketball Poll
The girls basketball season is now complete. And it's now time for the final girls basketball top 10 poll of the season.
Congratulations to head coach Nathan Goerge and the Fowler lady Eagles for winning their 3rd Division 4 state title in the last five years. They did so by taking down Ewen-Trout Creek, 53-29, in the title game last Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Congrats also to DeWitt for making it to the quarterfinals before falling to eventual Division 1 state champion Belleville, 59-54, at Holt HS.
And also a congratulatory nod to Haslett, Holt, Portland, Eaton Rapids, Leslie, Pewamo-Westphalia, and Portland St. Patrick for winning district titles.
DeWitt (CAAC Blue), Haslett (CAAC Red), Portland (CAAC White), P-W (CMAC), and Ovid-Elsie (Mid-Michigan Activities Conference) were our league champions this season. Congratulations to all of them.
