Her name is Maddy Haberling she is just 27 years old and has always loved sports. Maddy competed in school sports like swimming, rowing, and track but when that was all done, she still wanted to be involved in sports and that is when she got a trainer and took up weightlifting.

According to FOX 17, Haberling said, "I was super happy with my squat, my squat was 402.3 pounds, my bench I hit 198.4 pounds, and my deadlift was 457 and a half pounds."

Maddy beat her previous records back in May as well as tying the world record for her squat. She wound up scoring gold in her weight class and for her age class but Team USA also brought home gold in the competition.
