Ever wonder what those "floaties" in your Oberon are? Don’t get all weirded out and think that your beer went bad, these "floaties" are what makes Oberon great!

After cracking an Oberon yesterday my wife said “what the heck is floating around in your beer?”  I quickly checked my beer and noticed a ton of weird things floating around in there. What the heck?

Well, after a quick google I found out that the "floaties" are actually where all the yummy comes from in an Oberon. Those "floaties" are actually yeast and proteins and are part of the beer making process.  Many beers are filtered and that removes the yeast and protein sediment from the beer, but Bell's doesn't filter their Oberon because they say that's what makes Oberon, Oberon.
