ESPN President Skipper Resigns
John Skipper, president of all-sports network ESPN, announced on Monday that he was resigning his position, effective immediately.
Skipper has been president of the network since 2012. And has been with the network for 20 years. Longtime ESPN executive George Bodenheimer will take over Skipper's duties for the next 90 days while Disney, ESPN's parent company, finds a replacement.
Skipper announced on Monday that he is battling a substance abuse problem, and has been for many years.
