Leslie is the defending champion of the event after defeating DeWitt in last year's final, 7-1.  It was the Blackhawks' first ever title in the Classic.

2022 Classic champ Fowlerville is in the field this year.  As are two-time champions Grand Ledge and Lansing Catholic.

Laingsburg, Waverly, and Williamston will look to win the tourney for the very first time.  While Holt will try to win their first Classic title since 2015.

Eaton Rapids has won the most Classic titles with nine.  Okemos has won the second-most championships with seven.

Thursday, May 23rd is a makeup date for rainouts.  Other schedule adjustments due to rain will be made as the tournament goes along.

Admission to the Classic is $5.00 for adults with children 12 and under getting in for free.  Parking is free as well.  And concessions will be open at the stand down the first base/right field line.

The Softball Classic is one of many events throughout the year that help benefit the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame.  The annual Hall of Fame Softball Showcase, featuring the best high school senior softball players in the Lansing area, will be on June 19th at Ranney Park.

And the induction ceremonies for the Hall of Fame class of 2024 will on August 8th at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing.
