The Greyhounds have a new coach in Joe Brya.  He replaces the departed Mike Smith, who left to be the coach and AD at Everett.

After winning two straight district titles under Smith in 2014 and '15, the 'Hounds have struggled in the last two years, going 2-7 last season.

Brya has 29 varsity players to start the season, but 12 starters are back.  They'll try to win the close games they have been unable to win the last two seasons.

It'll be tough though, with Charlotte and Sexton joining the CAAC White.  But Brya feels that the opener against Jackson Northwest could springboard this team to bigger things in 2018.
