Last year they proved they belonged as one of the state's best softball teams with a run to the state semifinals.

According to the Lansing State Journal, the Division 2 No. 3 ranked Greyhounds have played like a team on a mission.

And now they are only two wins away from winning a state championship.  Grace Lehto continued a stellar junior season in the pitching circle to lead the charge as Eaton Rapids notched a 2-0 victory over Ida in Tuesday's quarterfinal at Chelsea.

The Eaton Rapids Greyhounds will face No. 4 ranked Stevensville Lakeshore at 10 a.m. Thursday at Michigan State for a spot in Saturday's championship game.
