Draymond Green was drafted 35th overall in the 2nd round of the 2012 NBA draft, and you better believe he remembers it.

That list includes current teammates Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli, meaning Green was the Warriors' third pick of that draft, however he doesn't hold it against management. Green told the San Jose Mercury News: "It's hard to give them (bleep) about it, because what they did makes perfect sense."

A piece from ESPN redrafting the 2012 NBA draft has Green in the top five overall. Safe to say he has made the Warriors organization seem like geniuses for picking him when they did.

It's safe to say that Green is definitely up there with the elite in the 2012 draft like Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and Andre Drummond (top 10 picks in 2012) rather than the likes of Jae Crowder, Orlando Johnson and Quincy Acy (picks in the mid 30s that year).
