Detroit Tigers Promote Moya, Demote Hardy
The Toledo Blade is reporting that the Detroit Tigers have promoted outfielder Steven Moya from the Toledo Mud Hens and have sent relief pitcher Blaine Hardy back to Triple-A.
Moya should join the big-league roster in time for Thursday night's game against Baltimore.
Hardy hasn't pitched for Detroit since May 3rd. This drops the number of pitchers to 12 on the major league 25-man roster.
