Not only do I love spring time in Michigan, I love to watch the Detroit Tigers play baseball.

We all know that the Detroit Tigers baseball team has gone through a lot of changes over the past several years, but that doesn't mean they'll never be in the world series ever again.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Tigers will make it to the world series some day. Trust me, I know it's going to happen, it's just a matter of time.

Right now the Tigers are in what they call the "Grapefruit League." That's where they play a lot of exhibition games which gets them ready for the official start of baseball season.

The Detroit Tigers home opener will take place at Comerica Park on April 8 at 1:10 p.m., against the Chicago White Sox. I think I'll try to make that game and cheer on the Tigers.

Don't get me wrong, I am a faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers. As long as Miguel Cabrera stays with the Tigers, I'll keep cheering them on straight to the baseball playoffs.

The Tigers recently added Eduardo Rodriguez to the line up. Rodriguez is a free agent who is a left hander and a very good pitcher.

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

Rodriguez, who signed a five-year, $77 million deal with the Tigers, is the dean of the young pitching staff, even though he's just 28 years old and has never thrown a game in a Tigers' uniform.

I'm sure that Eduardo Rodriguez is going to do a great job for the Detroit Tigers and I can't wait to see him in action on the mound at Comerica Park.
