Detroit Tigers Opening Day Postponed
The Detroit Tigers Opening Day game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park at 1:10, has been postponed until Friday afternoon due to inclement weather.
Jordan Zimmermann was slated to start for the Tigers against Ivan Nova for Pittsburgh. Both pitchers are scheduled to start for their teams on Friday. All ticketholders for Thursday's game can use them for Friday's game or any other home game this season.
This is the second Opening Day game to be postponed this season. The Washington Nationals at Cincinnati Reds game was postponed on Wednesday due to weather.
