This year is the 35th anniversary of the Detroit Tigers 1984 World Championship.  Next weekend the series against the Nationals will have all sorts of 1984 themed giveaways and ticket packages available.

According to the Detroit Tigers, one of the ticket packages available for the games against the Nationals next weekend is a vinyl record.  The record is of the song, "Bless You Boys" which was the anthem of 1984.

The record is produced by Third Man Records.   This record is apart of a ticket package available for any of the games June 28,29 and 30 against Washington.

The weekend will also have free giveaways for fans.   June 28th will be a Lou Whitaker and Lance Parish mini bat.  June 29th will be a Sparky Anderson bobblehead.
