The Detroit Tigers have had some down years recently which have led to some high draft picks.  Three of those picks are now apart of the Tigers Double A team in Erie, Pennsylvania.

According to M-Live,  their latest top pick, Casey Mize has recently been promoted from Lakeland to Erie.

Mize was the overall number one pick in the draft last year.   He recently dominated during his time in Class A Lakeland giving up one run in 26 innings.

He will join the Tigers top pick in 2017, Alex Faedo and 2016 pick, Matt Manning on the Seawolves staff.

Just recently Faedo and reliever Drew Carlton threw a combined no hitter for Erie.  Three big young arms for the Tigers with a lot of promise.

It will be fun to watch these guys develop and hopefully if they continue to dominate in Erie we may see one of them get a chance to start in Detroit.
