The Detroit Tigers (9-6) defeated the Los Angeles Angels (8-10) today at Comerica Park, 2-1. The first run of the game was scored by Los Angeles in the first inning when Howie Kendrick hit a ground single to bring home Albert Pujols. The Tigers tied the game in the second Miguel Cabrera was walked, and after a series of 3 throwing errors, Ian Kinsler was able to score a run to tie the game. In the 6th inning Detroit pulled the lead when a line drive single from Nick Casellanos brought home Austin Jackson.
