The Detroit Pistons have refreshed their look for the 2017-18 season and beyond.

Look familiar? The Pistons seem to be going back and embracing their Bad Boys era roots that put them on the map in the 90's. The team's twitter explains the logo is "an identity built on their championship tradition and promising future."

You can see the main differences from the old school logo to this new one are the font in the name "Detroit Pistons" and more understated (and closer to realistic) basketball groove lines.

The Pistons will play their first season in downtown Detroit at the new Little Caesars Arena with this new branding, and tonight will hope this new logo brings them luck in the NBA Draft Lottery. The Pistons have a less than 1% chance at landing the top pick and only a 2.% chance of picking inside the top three.
