The 2020 NFL Draft has a bit of a different look and feel to it compared to years past, thanks to the coronavirus outbreak. But, the Detroit Lions found themselves in a familiar draft the Top Ten.

The Detroit Lions used the Number Three overall pick Thursday night to select Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah to help fill their defensive secondary needs. Okudah was widely speculated by numerous draft pundits as the best available player at his position in this year;s draft class.

Okudah was recruited to Columbus by former head coach Urban Meyer's staff from Grand Prairie (South HS), Texas. He was named a high school All-American in his senior year of high school in 2016, and was a unanimous selection to the 2019 College Football All-American team.

In his three seasons in Columbus, he recorded 83 total tackles in 35 career games. He also tallied 18 pass deflections and three interceptions, which all came in his 2019 Junior season.

With 4.43 seconds speed in the 40-yard dash, Okudah is widely considered a "shut-down defender". He has a 41 inch vertical jump and a 6-foot-1-inch, 205 pound frame.
