It was a disappointing season for the Detroit Lions.  With the down season, the Lions only had one player on the Pro Football Focus top players list.

According to M-Live,  The Lions only had one player on the list of 101 best players of the past season and it wasn't Matthew Stafford or Darius Slay.  It was a player that didn't start the year in Detroit.   The one Lions player on the list is Damon "Snacks" Harrison.

The Lions gave up a 5th round draft pick to land the former Giants top run defender.  He arrived in Detroit and continued to be a dominate player stopping the run.

Last year saw the Lions with three players featured on this list.   Golden Tate (who was traded during the season), Darius Slay and Glover Quin.

It looks like the team has some work to do this off season but at least you have one area that should be set for the next season.

The NFL draft is coming up April 25th through the 27th and we will see how the Lions do. They currently have the 8th overall pick in the first round.
