The Detroit Lions announced on Friday morning that no fans will be allowed into Ford Field for the team's first two regular season games of the 2020 season.

This covers the regular season opener against the Chicago Bears on September 13th and against the New Orleans Saints in October.

Attendance for any future games at Ford Field will be determined at a later date by the Lions in conjunction with local and state government officials.
