The regular season schedule for the Detroit Lions (as well as the rest of the NFL) was announced on Wednesday night.

The Lions will open on the road at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, it's a 4:25 eastern time kickoff on September 8th.  The home opener at Ford Field is the following Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers at 1pm.

The traditional Thanksgiving Day game will be against the Chicago Bears for the second straight year (November 28th, 12:30pm).  There's also one other nationally televised game involving the Lions, it's in Week 6 on Monday Night Football (October 14th) at the Green Bay Packers.

The regular season finale is at Ford Field against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, December 29th.  This is the fourth straight year that they will finish the season against Green Bay.
