Pavel Datsyuk scored with 2.2 seconds left in overtime as the Detroit Red Wingscapped off a 4-2 road trip with a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues Thursday night at Scottrade Center. After a scoreless first period and with less than two minutes left in the second Detroit (24-11-9) scored twice within a minute when Joakim Andersson and Tomas Tatar both found the back of the net. St. Louis (27-14-3) cut the lead in half in the third when David Backes redirected a shot past Petr Mrazek then with 56 seconds left in regulation, Alexander Steen tipped in a Jay Bouwmeester shot to send the game into overtime. Mrazek stopped 25 of 27 shots in goal for the Red Wings while Brian Elliott made 21 saves for the Blues. The Red Wings return to Hockeytown for back to back home games over the weekend starting with a match-up with the Nashville Predators.
