After being on the wrong side of a 54-40 score line against Northwestern and suffering the first four game losing streak under Dantonio, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio faced the media and took questions.

It all seems to be going downhill for Michigan State who are now on their first four game lsoing streak under Dantonio, they also gave up the most points under Dantonio this game.

Michigan State's QB controversy came about with Brian Lewerke starting, only to be pulled in the 2nd half for Tyler O'Connor. Lewerke played 35 offensive snaps, O'Connor played 30.

Losing has never been the norm under Dantonio, so with his team in unfamiliar water Dantonio was also asked how to handle the locker room who might have had loftier goals this season, and how to get them out of the rut they are in.

Michigan State captains Tyler O'Connor and RIley Bulough also offered their thoughts on the team's recent struggles.

RJ Shleton, Michigan State's best passer by efficiency rating against Northwestern with a 2-2 44 yard day, also caught for almost 200 yards and had two scores. He offered up comments regarding the state of the offense.

Michigan State has to hit the road looking for their first win in Big Ten play against Maryland next Saturday.
