The Dansville Aggies avenged two losses in the regular season with a convincing 75-54 victory over the CMAC champion Laingsburg Wolfpack in the Class C district opener on Monday night at Bath High School.

The Aggies rode their big man, 6-9 junior center Caleb Hodgson to the triumph.  Hodgson scored 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while dishing out four assists.    He was helped out by guard Hayden Voss who scored 16 points while senior point guard Carter Frantz had 10 points and four assists.

Laingsburg was led by senior point guard Kam Brown who had 13 points and three assists in his final high school game.  Jonathan Austin added 12 while Nick Putnam had 10 points and five rebounds.

Dansville shot just under 75% from the field for the game (28-38) and was 15-22 from the free throw line.  With the victory, the Aggies (15-6) move to face Byron in Wednesday's district semifinal.  Laingsburg's season ends at 16-4, but with an outright CMAC championship.
