D.J. Wilson Leaves Michigan, To Stay In NBA Draft
University of Michigan sophomore forward D. J. Wilson announced on Wednesday that he will keep his name in the NBA Draft and forego his final two years of eligibility with the Wolverines.
Wilson, along with teammate Moritz Wagner (who decided to remain at Michigan earlier on Wednesday), was a key component for head coach John Beilein in the team's run to the Big Ten Tournament championship in March and the run to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament later that month.
This move now leaves Michigan with two available scholarships for the upcoming season. It is unclear what Coach Beilein will do to fill those spots in time for fall practice.
