After battling leukemia the past few years, NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager passed away Thursday afternoon according to Turner Sports.

Sager was known for wearing flamboyant suits as well as his interviews during TNT broadcasts.

The Northwestern alum has covered horse racing, college football games, the NFL, soccer's World Cup and the Masters Tournament at Augusta National. He was on the sideline for his first NBA final this past summer.

The media and the basketball community will miss him and he brought to basketball broadcasts.

Sager inspired many people as he fought leukemia.
