Comerica Park Employee Pleads Guilty
Jaylon Kerley, the Comerica Park employee who was filmed spitting onto a customer's pizza, pleaded guilty on food law violations on Friday in a Detroit courtroom.
Kerley, who's 21, faces up to four years in jail on one felony and one misdemeanor count for food law violations. His sentencing is set for November 15th.
The incident occurred on September 21st during a Kansas City Royals @ Detroit Tigers baseball game, where Kerley was shown to have spit in a customer's pizza while he was making it. Kerley was fired by Comerica Park officials once they found out about the incident.
Kerley could get a maximum of four years in jail for the crime.
