Central Michigan University tight end and former Lansing Catholic HS star Tony Poljan announced via his Twitter account on Wednesday that he is leaving the school and entering the transfer portal.

Here is Poljan's tweet:

Poljan has one year of eligibility left in college.  It is unclear as to whether he is a graduate transfer and therefore be eligible to play immediately at another university.  Poljan had 33 catches for 496 yards and 4 touchdowns for the Chippewas last season.  He began his career in Mount Pleasant as a quarterback (where he was a star at Lansing Catholic), but switched to tight end for the 2019 season.
