Central Michigan University QB John Keller was released from Hurley Medical Center in Flint on Friday after being shot at a Mount Pleasant party a month ago.

John's father went to Twitter to report the news to everyone:

Keller and another CMU student were shot at a campus party on April 24th, and was in intensive care and on a ventilator for a week.  His father says that he'll continue to recuperate at home.

John, a Canton, Ohio native did not play for the Chippewas in 2020, as he sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.  He transferred from Pearl River Community College in January of 2020.  Because 2020 was a "free year" due to COVID-19, Keller will still have three years of eligibility left this coming fall.
