Brian Gionta scored two goals for the Montreal Canadiens as they defeated the Detroit Red Wings 5-3 at the Bell Centre Saturday night. Detroit (37-27-14) had won four in a row coming into the game but got down early as Montreal staked a 3-0 lead after two periods on goals by Gionta, Michael Bournival and Max Pacioretty. The Red Wings answered back and tied the game on third period goals from Pavel Datsuyk, Luke Glendening and Niklas Kronwall. Gionta then scored the game winner with 6:47 left in regulation. Alex Galchenyk completed the scoring for the Canadiens (45-28-7), Detroit is off until Tuesday night when they travel to Buffalo to face the Sabres.  Pregame coverage begins at 6:40pm on Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM.
